Inspired by a childhood favorite that later became a necessity and staple in late 2025. My mom used to doctor it up real good; add some brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract and you had a ghetto gourmet dessert. Between sliced apples and applesauce I’m not sure which one tasted better, but it was a lifeline for me in my journey.
